R. J. Wirth
Within Vector Psychometric Group, Dr. Wirth leads daily operations. These efforts include project coordination, contracts, and personnel. In addition to these duties, Dr. Wirth regularly participates in projects in his capacity as a quantitative psychologist / psychometrician.
His research focuses on modern psychometrics with an emphasis on measurement invariance in longitudinal models within the factor analysis, structural equation, and item response theory frameworks.
Dr. Wirth has published numerous book chapters and journal articles appearing in outlets such as Psychological Methods, Medical Care, Psychological Assessment, Journal of Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, and Child Development. He regularly serves as a reviewer for a variety of quantitative and substantive journals.
Prior to taking over the daily operations of Vector Psychometric Group, Dr. Wirth had held research positions at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at The University of North Carolina and in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington.
